Step Into Reading全5级 美式英语兰登分级阅读
英语分级读物涵盖了学习英文不同的水平阶段，是国外孩子学语言、练阅读的必备材料，也是被国内娃用于大量输入式学习词汇句式不可替代的学习过程。和普通绘本不同的是，分级读物更加系统化，每本书的语言和难度都考虑到孩子的英文水平和认知能力。如果能够长期并坚持分级阅读，小孩有了一定的词汇量，同时再报网课直播课作为口语输出练习，有了量的积累，更容易实现质的飞跃。之前我们介绍的基本是英式英语中比较有名的分级阅读，兰登则是地道的美式英语里最受家长们欢迎的分级读物。
在美国，小学并没有统一的教材。关于阅读学习，分级读物一般被作为阅读教材来使用。孩子可以通过阅读对应级别的书，一步步积累英文能力，直到从亲子阅读慢慢过渡到自主阅读。
兰登分级阅读5个级别
这套系列丛书由美国企鹅兰登书屋出版社出版，在美国英语分级阅读市场畅销了二十多年。企鹅兰登书屋出版社是世界上最大的童书出版商，比如苏斯博士的作品、贝贝熊系列、托马斯、斯凯瑞金色童书系列，还有经典绘本《小黑鱼》、《和甘伯伯去游河》等，都是兰登出品。
兰登系列有1-5个级别（另增加了导读与独立阅读两个系列），2-60个单词/页，适合幼儿园至小学生阅读。并根据美国课标CCSS编写，由浅入深，循序渐进。书中用词比较地道，词汇也很丰富，插画精美。内容包括图画书、数学、经典童话故事、励志故事和科普类等，并根据不同的选题搭配彩色插图。

兰登分级阅读的3大特色
1、用词精准地道
兰登用词地道，是被普遍认可的。地道的美式英语，可以从小培养孩子更好的语感。比如：
James sneaks downstairs.
A star that is shooting across the dark sky.
A star that is shining right straight in your eye.
Tugboat–lug, lug, lug.
Boat packed with people.
2、音频韵律感很强
兰登的音频制作是一大亮点，韵律感极强，自带说唱节奏，特别是启蒙阶段的孩子，更易接受和记忆。可以挑选一些作为启蒙英语的磨耳朵使用。
比如《Dancing Dinos》这本书中的句子全部都是押韵的，读起来朗朗上口。
“Dinos sliding down the stairs; Dinos gliding by in pairs”, 句中的“sliding”和“gliding”、“stairs”和“pairs”这些都是押尾韵的词语。
兰登是市面上唯一能唱的分级读物系列。这套读本对于具备有一定英语基础词汇，正在读小学的小朋友来说，既是生活小百科又能用来拓展课外知识。
3、不适合0基础入门
综合比较其他分级阅读，兰登的难度较大，不同级别的跨越也比较明显，所以对于0基础的小娃来说不太合适。
而对于有些基础，并有老师或家长可以陪读的孩子来说，这套分级阅读还是很不错的，跟红火箭、牛津阅读树都可以同时交叉学习。
一般来说，只买一套分级阅读，可能孩子学到后期会疲乏，也可能进阶很快，孩子水平跟不上，除了可以把低级别多读几遍，也可以买不同的分级阅读穿插学习。
我们并不建议一下子囤太多级别的分级读物，可以先买一两个级别试试。英语分级阅读都是量的积累，不可能短时间看到明显的质的飞跃，所以需要长期坚持的学习。
