Look教材一经推出就得到了全球市场的认可，它新鲜的文本内容，视频和丰富的阅读体裁都与时俱进，同时对标当下最热门的剑桥少儿英语考试，简直是神一般的英语教材。
在美国教育考试服务中心（ETS）主办的2021年托福家族系列年度峰会上，美国国家地理学习正式签约为ETS托福青少测试官方合作机构，将Look 作为TOEFL Primary考试的官方指定教程。

Look 教材中词汇覆盖托福小学考试中的2200多词汇，符合TOEFL Primary® Tests中阅读、听力模块和口语模块对于词汇方面的要求。

举个例子，这是TOEFL Primary® Tests中阅读模块的一个样题，题目是关于how to make a puppet 如何制作手偶。
而Look 系列中就包括各种类型的Project项目，为学生提供了大量应用语言和能力去完成一个项目的机会，包括了测试中可能会遇到的各种类型的任务和文本类型。
当孩子经过了个一个又一个不同项目的学习和应用，获得了真实的语言和在真实的项目用应用语言的能力，可以驾轻就熟地应对各种类型的考试。
教材详解
LOOK的结构十分清晰，每单元8页：
和很多英美教科书一样，每个单元开始，都有一个预热活动，为下面的学习铺垫背景、带出孩子的求知欲望。
比如，这是第一级第七单元的主题，My Town
Part 1：语言基础
- Vocabulary 词汇
每单元上来先过词汇，非常符合中国孩子的学习习惯。
但不同于传统的学习方式，Look的词汇部分很注重“实用性”。先跟读，高年级还配有习题，从词汇填空到听力填空难度循序渐进，最后分组讨论锻炼口语，把所学的新词汇学以致用。
- Grammar 语法基础
语法部分没有大讲特讲语法规则，而是放在歌谣和阅读中，带孩子熟悉句型的实用，为后面的阅读打好基础。
Part 2：阅读和语法
- Reading 阅读
Look 每篇阅读素材在篇幅和难度都进行了严格把关，在学生可接受的适中范围。同时，会配一张跟文本内容高度相关的图片，帮助孩子理解。
另外，阅读中的新生词不仅在文中加粗标记，在阅读后也逐一列出，非常方便复习。课文内容都有原版音频，孩子可以跟读、模仿。
- Grammar 语法拓展
第二部分的语法是基于前一部分的拓展，比如前一部分主要学到 There is… 句型，这里会进阶到 There are… ，语法知识跟阅读内容相关联，更容易带入情景学习，帮助理解和记忆。
Part 3：复习&拓展
- Song 儿歌
儿歌部分主要是对本单元词汇和语法学习的复习，用唱歌的方式替代背诵，有趣而高效。
- Phonics 自然拼读
每单元专注练习一个自然拼读规则，结合图片字典、句型，丰富词汇量。
- Video 视频
每单元的视频课程是Look的一大亮点，视频源自国家地理的最新内容，提供超越课本的知识储备，也帮助巩固复习了本单元所学知识。
四分钟视频，就好像一段高清记录短片，充分展示了全世界各地城镇的特色，打开孩子的视野。
配套练习册
教材配套练习册的内容跟课本设置几乎是一一对应的，达到学以致用的目的。
题型多样，填空、判断对错、写句子…多种方式检测孩子的掌握情况。
