RAZ有什么特点或者说是优点？
让我们一起来数一数：

体系性强、内容丰富，超过1000册
RAZ起源于美国、加拿大等发达国家，在香港、台湾地区发展了十几年，是根据儿童不同年龄段的智力和心理发育程度为不同阅读水平的孩子设计的具有科学性和针对性的读物。
英文分级阅读，就是综合考虑孩子的英文水平、心智、兴趣爱好等要素，为不同英文水平的孩子提供不同难度的英文读物。它旨在帮助孩子找到适合孩子水平的级别，通过在同一级别下的大量阅读逐步提高孩子的阅读能力。
RAZ 的内容是非常丰富的，你可以找到像《三只小猪》、《小红帽》这样的经典故事，也能收获有关历史、科学、自然、地理的知识，在高级别的RAZ书里还能看到各种传记。
使用RAZ，孩子不仅仅能提升英语阅读能力，同时对各方面知识的积累，开拓视野也是有很大的帮助的。从aa级别开始，慢慢学会阅读，learn to read；随着级别的不断升高，孩子们会转变为从阅读中学习，read to learn。
在经过了最低的几个基础级别后，在这几方面的内容开始变得很多。如果能读完整套的RAZ，那么孩子提升的绝对不仅仅是英语能力，而是各个方面的知识文化积累。
这套书的最后几个级别，不仅孩子可以读，甚至是已经通过大学英语四六级的家长都可以去学习，可以一边看，一边点读，还能提高爸妈的阅读能力和英语水平哦。

内容设计符合孩子的认知和兴趣
一直特别感慨RAZ书的内容设计，低级别的虽然受限于内容难度，但是它也尽可能设计出一些很有意思的故事情节，让孩子对阅读产生兴趣。
比如aa级的《Jump over》，前面几页讲了各种小动物们跃过篱笆、跃过石头、跃过木头等，最后一页是一个小女孩正在跳水坑。

这个情节对于小孩子来说是很有共鸣的，他们也喜欢去踩水跳水坑，读到这样的书对孩子来说就是一个快乐有趣的经历，虽然是英文书，但孩子喜欢去读，能激发孩子英语阅读的兴趣。
配套着原版英文朗读，点一点，有的孩子一个故事能听上十多遍呢。
再比如aa级的《Water》这本书，从Water、The ocean、The lake、The river、The rain、The snow、The ice、Water，短短14个单词加配图，就给孩子潜移默化地灌输了水的不同形态的知识点。
有经常看到的液态：海水、湖水、河水、雨；还有固态的雪和冰。孩子不但是在读英语，锻炼英文阅读能力，还能自然习得各个方面的知识，构建认知。

除此之外，RAZ还有大量其他各方面的知识，覆盖了历史、科学、自然、地理，传记。所以我们一直强调分级读物不仅仅是对英语学习有帮助，更是对孩子各方面的综合知识有所提升。

内容循序渐进、循环上升
aa级别作为最初始的级别，每页主要以单词和短语为主，随着级别的上升，句子会越来越长，有更丰富的表达，词汇也越来越丰富。
而对于相同的主题，高级别的书会引导孩子进行更深入的思考。以B级的《Where is water？》为例，和aa级的《Water》进行比较，我来给大家做个分析。

在《Where is Water》这本书里，同样是“水”这个主题，但是已经使用简单的句子来进行表达。我们对比可以发现，Water is in the ocean、Water is in the river、Water is in the lake和Water is in the sky分别对应的aa级别《Water》这本书里的The ocean、The river、The lake和The rain。
B级的书里多了Water is under the ground，有关“地下水”的概念。同时多了Water is all around us这样总括性的话，最后Where do you see water？的提问引导孩子进行更发散的思考。
从上面的对比中，大家可能已经有点体会到RAZ书在设计上层层递进，螺旋上升的体系了。一天20分钟，一年下来会有180万字的阅读量！
由于分级比较多，每个级别跨度也比较小，这样每次进入下一个级别都不会让孩子觉得无所适从的感觉。

强大的有声点读功能，随读随点，方便快捷
了解到家长每次给孩子想要读故事的时候，都担心自己发音不准确，把孩子给带偏了，最好是能有纯正地道的配套音频来让孩子跟读。
不过点读笔有些贵，还不能支持所有的书。但是这套RAZ最神奇的地方就是可以点读，注意是用鼠标或者是手指来点读哦。
它支持电脑、手机和iPad。到底该如何操作呢，家长们一定要认真看以下攻略。
电脑端：Windows电脑直接下载后，有许多PDF软件都可以支持PDF音频，如adobe reader，adobeprofessional，福昕PDF。福昕PDF百度一下就能找到，很小，很方便安装。
手机和iPad端：
第一步：在手机和iPad上面下载Documents PDF（见下图2），并安装。
第二步：在百度云盘里下载以后，选择图1圆圈里的按钮，再用图2中的Documents PDF软件打开。

第三步：在Documents 这个软件打开PDF后，按下图中的播放按钮，每一页都能播放出原版配套音频啦，超级方便，还省时省力省钱。
27个级别，每一个级别都有数十本分级读物，不仅难度上拾级而上，逐渐提升，最最重要的是1180本书都可以随时点读啊。就像是为孩子随身携带了一个电子图书馆，还有专门的英文老师朗读，这简直就是不敢想象！
